6. The Wild Brunch
Season 1 Episode 2

This episode Dan and Jenny get introduced to the Upper East Side. They were so innocent back then. They had no idea what they were in for.

Everyone was so much different in the first season.

Blair was a bigger bitch, Chuck was an ass, Serena was just beginning to change and Nate, well Nate was pretty much the same. Dan has changed a lot. He was a really good guy back then, but the Upper East Side changed him. Just like it changed Jenny.

It’s funny watching Blair introduce herself to Dan and break Serena and Dan up for the first time. Dan doesn’t even register in Blair’s eyes, if only she knew that she would fall for him.

Chuck hands Blair a key and sends her up to his penthouse so she can lose her virginity to Nate, and says he’s happy he can play a small part in her deflowering. If only he knew he would do the deflowering.

Serena and Blair had their first of many, many battles.

This episode really set the scene for the entire series.
