There are a lot of rescue missions on this show, but I don’t think many get as exciting as this one.
That could have something to do with the fact that Felicity and Curtis tagged along on this mission.
It’s so exciting to watch Curtis join Team Arrow. I think he’s a great addition to the team. We can all live vicariously through him. We would all love to be apart of Team Arrow, even if we didn’t know their identities. If he keeps helping the team out, they are going to have to make him a member and let him in on the secret.
I love how Arrow is handling the love story of Felicity and Oliver. There are very few cheesy moments and it’s all so real. It’s also not the center of the story. It’s part of their normal lives while they fight to save the city, but of course relationships can complicate things.
It was really funny listening to them fight in the middle of a mission and of course everyone else was right in the middle. They did discus their first date on a mission, so why not have an argument?
I really liked that Felicity was having a reality check in the relationship. She felt that she lost herself in Oliver and she’s not that girl, and she’s right, she’s not that girl.
She was feeling guilty to packing up her life and moving away, but she’s the CEO of a major company and she’s helping save the city at night. She certainly hasn’t lost herself, but its nice that she doesn’t want to lose herself. She’s such a strong character and she needed a breather.
We can all take a breather now. It appeared that Olicity was headed for trouble, but they just had a bump in the road. Not to say that the writers won’t give them more bumps, but for now, we can rest easy.
I’m not surprised that Sara getting back her soul didn’t fix her. I mean Thea has her soul and she still has the blood lust. Sara is stronger than she knows. She’s been through so much and she can overcome this. Getting away from Star City is a great idea though. There’s so much evil there and putting on the mask isn’t going to help her deal with this.
I wonder if finding herself is something that will happen in the spin-off?
Ray is back and ready for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow too. This man is super smart to be able to send out a signal to Felicity. He must be so thankful to know Oliver. Felicity played a big part in saving him, but Team Arrow pulled it off. If he didn’t have such powerful friends, he may have never been found.
Unfortunately, Damien Darhk got something from his technology. Does Damien know that Oliver is Green Arrow? He said he has his suspicions. He’s a smart guy, so there’s a good chance he actually knows Green Arrow’s identity.
It’s quite interesting when Felicity’s mother comes to town. She’s the polar opposite of Felicity and it’s still funny to see people’s reactions to her mother.
Curtis was too funny when when he said “I can see where Felicity gets her…” and trailed off because there was clearly nothing in common about these two ladies, other than they are both very pretty women. So of course he goes with blond and Felicity isn’t even a real blond.
She does bring some solace into Felicity’s life. First she helped her choose Oliver and now she’s reaffirming that.
As mush as I still want the Olicity proposal, now is not the time. They are still figuring this relationship out. We all love the relationship moments, so we were all in a rush for the proposal, but the writers are making this relationship very real. They didn’t have the first kiss or date quickly. Their relationship has taken time to build. The proposal will take time too. So many shows throw couples together so quickly and break them up just as quick. Let’s enjoy the ride of Olicity.
Team Arrow has another rescue mission next week. Dig’s brother is still alive!
