In just one episode you can tell that this season of Younger is going to be very different from the other seasons. Things are getting very real and Kelsey may be crossing the line in more ways than one.
The opening scene was beautiful and heartbreaking all at once. Kelsey was leaving with nowhere to go and over that Liza was telling her the whole truth. That’s definitely a lot to take in.
I don’t think I could have expected how Kelsey would have reacted to the truth. I kind of love how she reacted. She’s brokenhearted and searching. She left her home, broke up with her boyfriend and got betrayed by one of her best friends. That’s a rough night and it’s amazing how she’s handling it all.
Liza is going further down the rabbit hole. Kelsey is creating an online presence for Liza and made them get on the 29 under 29 list at EW. This is a dangerous path they’re heading down. But it is fun to watch.
Liza almost told Diana (Miriam Shor) and Charles (Peter Hermann) the truth. Kelsey stopped her for business reasons but I’m excited for the day that they both find out the truth. Not 100 % sure how either of them are going to take it. I like that Miriam said on Facebook Live that Diana would respect Liza for that. Charles, on the other hand, could either be happy that they’re closer in age or feel betrayed.
Season four looks like it’s taking a very different direction but it’s going to have just as much heart, drama, laughs and fun as the first three seasons.
