It seems like every week Liza is having close calls now. How long can she really keep this going?

One of the best things about Liza’s close calls is how she reacts. She comes up with something on the fly and makes herself look like an idiot. She recovers from it, mostly.
This week she tried to prepare her colleagues before the helicopter landed and everything blew up. Then the helicopter went back up again.
She had already said too much, so she had to tell them something. She said she was a slut in high school. Out of everything she could have said, that’s not what I thought she would say.
Sometimes it’s hard to believe that she’s kept her secret this long. I think she’s actually getting worse at covering it up. It was too funny a couple of episodes ago when she put the paper in her mouth so no one saw that Charles was on her fourth square. Granted, this wasn’t about her secret, but I think if she was a 26-year-old, Charles wouldn’t even be a thought.

The secret may be weighing on her, but her relationship with Josh couldn’t be any better. He sat there and waited for her at the book club in case she needed a designated driver. None of the husbands did that.
The age difference seems to be getting smaller and smaller. Her friend may even stop calling him “boy toy” now that she’s calling him “the real deal.”

Kelsey, on the other hand, isn’t having an easy time moving on. Clearly, she’s not ready if she keeps telling potential guys about her dead ex.
You don’t have to tell this stranger everything when you meet them. We all have exes and you don’t have to tell them the details of how that ended. They don’t need to know about the dead fiance until at least the third date.
Lauren has always been the fun one but she may be maturing, at least relationship-wise. She freaked out when she slept with a guy because of Maggie.
Maggie, of course, is having her own fun and told Lauren to go for it with the guy. A sweet, cute, doctor, how can Lauren say no to that?
Is this the start of a relationship for Lauren? That would be very interesting. Can she handle monogamy?
The best scene of the episode was when Liza, Diana and Charles had virtual reality glasses on to meet Bryce at the Wall of China. None of them knew how to react in the virtual world. Liza was flailing her arms, Diana even fell down!
It’s times like these that Liza shows her age. The good thing is that the older generation is so out of touch too that they don’t even notice.
Will Liza’s close calls be a theme this season? Or will things start to calm down for her? Season three has been a roller coaster so far, we’ll have to wait and see how long she can keep her secret.
